Autumn Equinox * Day of Atonement * Yom Kippur
The Day of Atonement for many Torah observant people is the evening of September 20, 2026 through the day of September 21, 2026 until its evening. It is a day of the blowing of the ram's horn, the shofar. It is a day of asking forgiveness and reflection. Following this is the Autumn Equinox September 22, 2026, when the day and the night are equally balanced. Almost as if to say the scales are cleared out and have have a second chance. Which side of the scale will you fill? Doing good deeds or bad deeds? And which side equals the good deeds, day or night?
